Your Eyes Can Save Lives!

Have your eyes tested every 2 years.

As the Festive Season sets in so does the cold and wet weather conditions!

Driving in hazardous road conditions is risky business for everyone and even more so for those who have poor eye sight. During this wet/cold weather, please consider the following simple tips before you sit behind the wheel if you are a glasses/contacts wearer:

-Make sure your lenses are clean before you drive.

-Always carry a spare pair of glasses or lenses with you, especially on long journeys or when driving abroad.

-An anti-reflection coating reduces headlight reflections and allows clearer vision in poor light conditions.

-Never wear yellow tinted glasses at night. They darken shadows and make it difficult to see cyclists and pedestrians.

-Ensure you have your eyes tested every 2 years.
